The Starview

This restaurant was a banquet hall for weddings with a balcony suitable for the ceremony. The view was spectacular. It offered dim sum lunch. The service was very good. When the hot water bottle was accidentally tilted and hot water was pouring out, waitresses were attentive and changed the two table clothes immediately. At one time of visit, the ordered dim sum was not delivered, but another non-ordered item was placed on the table after careful confirmation. The quality of dim sum was above average. Price was acceptable. The number of lifts was adequate, but the waiting area was quite narrow. Besides, the toilets were quite small.

A good place for family or friends gathering! Starview is a famous Chinese food brand in Hong Kong. The branch in Tsim Sha Tsui is conveniently located. You can enjoy best view in the terrace! For food, the quality is pretty good. The pepper crab is huge and yummy! I also like their seafood which are so fresh and well-cooked!

On 30 May, 2024, my friends of 28 years and I came here for lunch. While the ambiance and the food were good, the service didn’t meet our expectations. We made our orders but we knew later the kitchen didn’t get them. We re-ordered again and not all of them came initially…

This restaurant has one of the best views of Hong Kong. The food is tasty, however not enough beef or fish in the dishes. The coconut taro and pumpkin dish was too soupy and not thick enough. All the dishes did not have enough ingredients.

Loved their shrimp dim sum, cheung fan, brings real joy, very subtle. Mostly enjoyed the spectacular view from the outside sitting area, simply fascinating
