Royal Park Hotel

A lovely hotel, conveniently located in Sha Tin. Love that it is connected to the New Town Plaza mall so you don't have to walk in the blistering heat of summer. Views from the room are beautiful, overlooking the Shing Mun River. The only slight downside is that when you come from the mall (3F) for check in and you need to take an elevator down to the hotel lobby, you have to wait for someone with a key card to let you into where the elevators are. If you don't have suitcases or a stroller/wheelchair, you can just use the escalator without accessing the elevator lobby.

I love this hotel. It's literally attach to several malls that are bridged together that have everything you'll ever need, and every style of food you want to eat.
Train station and bus station are just walking distance without stepping outside of the linked buildings.
The rooms are clean, price is reasonable and the front desk is friendly. This is our second time staying here and will be our home away from home, every time we come to Hong Kong.
Things the are important to me for a great hotel room, are checked. Clean room and clean bathroom, nice shower with good hot water and water pressure. Comfortable bed. Quiet and effective AC.... if I could give another star on top of the 5 stars, I would!
There is also a beautiful park along the canal that runs through Sha Tin.
Update...3rd time staying at the Royal Park in 3 years, and it is just as good as the first two times! We also discovered their swimming pool and the fitness center, which are on the second floor. Thy swimming pool is outdoor with cover. They have towels too.

Convenient location. Easy access to and from the airport by A46 bus. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel. The hotel is connected to a big mall at 3/F. Can access to shops, restaurants, daily necessities and MTR within 10 mins of walk indoor. Rooms are clean, big and comfortable. Staff is professional. There is shuttle bus service available to and from Mongkok East Station, which is another hotel of their same chain. Will return if needed a place to stay when visiting Hong Kong.

wife & I stayed 2 nights visiting family on way to Shenzhen. Winnie the senior assistant manager was helpful and thoughtful in getting us a room close to the lifts as my wife cannot walk far and also got her a shower chair. The room was spacious and clean. Location was close to shops. We will come back for another night on the way home to Australia. Highly recommend.

The accessible room was excellent for recovering from hip surgery. The hotel lent us a wheelchair. The toilet and shower area was large with safety features. The staff were kind and efficient. Only 2 suggestions - the switch for the desk lamp is not reachable from a wheelchair and if there were a way to keep the door open, leaving in a wheelchair would be easier. Overall, it was a great experience during a difficult time!
