Royal Courtyard

Fair food, poor service, clean restaurant, grand decor, a bit pricey.

The food was served hot and with good presentation. However, the taste and quality were poor. The steamed chicken was way too salty. The abalone had the right texture but was tasteless! The only thing they did right was the vegetable dish.

The servers didn't have a clue as to how any of the dishes were prepared, or what's on the menu. In addition, they were constantly forgetful and disinterested in serving customers. There was a TV just behind us and off to the side a bit. The manager was watching TV and totally ignored us when we waved to him, as if it was beneath him to address a customer. It was difficult to get a waitress's attention despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty. They were more concern with doing their side work, even though the restaurant didn't close for another 4 hours. I guess they really didn't care since the tip was already into the bill. They seemed to not care whether you'd enjoyed your meal, or if you'd ever return.

Overall, a big waste of money and time. Definitely not going back ever.

Amazing banquet hall that offers but dim sum in the morning and banquet Cantonese food at night. Great deal! You can even book private room with mahjong tables.

My families and I went to a restaurant called "Royal Courtyard
" (煌苑)located in 3/F, Kings Wing Plaza 2, 1 On Kwan Street, Shek Mun, Sha Tin
(沙田石門安群街1號京瑞廣場2期3樓)

The restaurant is spacious.There is greenery platfirm with staircases for photo!!

We ordered the

"Steamed Grouper with black fungi ，enoki mushroom & garlic"

The grouper is incredibly sweet ,moist,soft and succulent.Thick cut.generous portion

The enoki mushroom at the bottom soakd up all the esscences of the grouper.Yummmmmmm!!

It only costs HKD$48!!! Its value definitely much larger than what you paid!!

Highly recommended!!

price and good quality give me little surprise. in lunch times needs waiting around 10 to 15 minutes. the restaurants set up for wedding look likely second hand palace. (old fashioned ). dim sum taste note bad, coupled set (pigeons and soy source fry noodles )acceptable price. service ok (face not black. maybe here have three to four Chinese restaurants give more choice

Easy to find get abtable for 6 on Sunday, food is above ave. Nice place for family gathering.
