Nina Hotel Causeway Bay

A great hotel, we spent 3 nights in a Premium Bay View twin room. The service was perfect - everyone from greeting to departure was genuine and helpful.

Lifts were a little on the slow side (we were floor 35) and the rooms were comfortable and clean but in need of modernisation.

The restaurant was excellent- not too busy, nice atmosphere and great service. A little on the expensive side (to be expected) but they catered well to various requests and dietary requirements.

Breakfast is a set menu or à la carte rather than a buffet.

Main issues were a noisy aircon unit in the bedroom, squeaky plumbing - both of which caused a restless night - and an outdated decor in the rooms. Stand-in-bath shower, slippery tile floor (with a warning) and hardwood bedroom floor all made the room feel a bit 1980s.

Really love this hotel. Service is top notch. Rooms are good sized. Not cramped. Location is right opposite Tin Hau station. Walkable to a really cool craft beer bar and good cha chaan tengs. Couldn't ask for more.

Stayed here over the Easter Holidays for a family trip. Location is excellent as the Tin Hau subway station is just across the road, the trams are also right in front (affectionately called Ding Dings) and bus stop is 50m down the road.

There are several good eating places within walking distance, including a very popular sesame ice cream place (near the station entrance) and a lot of bakeries which open early for breakfast.

If you want the best coffee in Hong Kong then the Star Street cafes are only a 10 min ride away in the ding dings, we visited them every morning, several options so try them all.

It is very close to most of the attractions on the island side and the subway get you to those on a few minutes.

Tin Hau is more residential and less busy than some of it's neighbours. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were very good and comfortable, linen and towels were all like new.

We were on the 25th floor, not the very top but rooms were very quite, no real street noise. All windows are double glazed.

We got an extremely good room rates so keep a look out for deals. Would definitely stay here again given the location and good price.

Only real downside is rooms are a bit tired. Nothing major but they have seen better days.

If you can live with that and you get a good room rate I would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent clean room's, the bed was very comfortable. The pool and the gym are small but ok. The location is fantastic with the underground directly opposite . The buses and Ding ding stop outside the hotel. The wifi is very good. The restaurant and coffee shop were both closed. We found plenty of places for food and drinks in the local area.

The location is unbeatable!! MTR, bus, and tram stations right across the street. Plenty of great local eateries all within walking distance. Rooms are clean. Also quite spacious for HK standard. Thoughtful layout and the design of furnishings further maximize utility of the space for both comfort and storage. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.
