Great hotel with great service. Quite convenient for MTR and other public transport. We booked with the club access and it's a good value especially when we had very rainy days. The breakfast order got a little mixed up and the chef made a special plate as you can see in the photos that put a smile on our faces. Currently they have a get a Panda 🐼 promotion which is a nice gimmick. View from the roof is spectacular. The staff is fantastic and we especially enjoyed the service in the club from Gigi and Lulu. Only problem we had was noisy kids in the hallway waking us up too early. WiFi works well for working, except in the evening where it is like non existing - maybe because too many people in the rooms. This is not good because my work require a stable connection so I have to cut 1 star.
A near perfect experience. Absolutely go for the club level rooms, as the breakfast buffet is lovely and has the best view in Hong Kong. The room itself was very comfortable and had a wonderful view. A great shower and bath, and a very comfortable bed. Everything was cleaned daily for my ten day stay, and I was given glass bottles of water each evening. The free cocktail hour could have been a whole dinner, and the ambience was lovely. Service was impeccable, including offering an umbrella on rainy days and just simply checking in with me to see how my stay was going. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will only stay at the Harbour Grand for my next visit.
The lobby and check-in area are absolutely stunning, but the true highlight of this 5-star hotel is the staff. From reception to housekeeping, everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming—kudos to whoever is hiring and training this exceptional team! The only downsides were that the rooms felt a bit outdated, and no complimentary bottled water was provided. While I understand avoiding plastic, a glass bottle option would be a great touch for a 5-star property. Still, the service made it a wonderful stay.
We arrived very early and our room was not available, however they made a grand effort and got the room ready for us an hour earlier than our 3pm check-in time. The forum of the hotel is very grand with some impressive crystal lighting. Staff are helpful but check in is digital/electronic and is not easy for us ,not being used to this process. The room and bathroom were accommodating, comfortable twin beds, plenty of storage and lighting. Good air con ,plenty of hot water and water is drinkable. Mugs and glasses are supplied but not much in the way of tea or coffee. There is a kettle so if you're a tea drinker take a good supply. There is a fridge and safe also, both are empty. The hotel is positioned a few streets away from the main street where there are an abundance of buses and trams, however if you are arriving via train to North point station you will have to drag your cases up stairs as there are no lifts or if there are lifts they are not clearly marked. North point ferry is around 10 to 15 minutes walk via ding ding street. A market street where the famous trams (ding) pass through. If you are squeamish there are some sights in the market which may push you towards being vegetarian. There is a good viewing deck accessed via level 42 in the hotel to admire the lights and drone show over the bay that starts at 8pm nightly depending on the weather. There is also a restaurant at this level but we did not visit it due to loss of appetite due to the heat. Just a short stroll from the hotel towards the main road there is a small park with an old building which houses modern art exhibits, there are also public toilets of a fair standard here. One last point you can as with most hotels leave your luggage securely if you arrive early and I presume for a fee after checking out.
One of the best hotel ever we stayed with our infant. Best hospitality by the entire team. They treat their customer very well and friendly too. Very very Infant friendly and the location was very good as walkable distance to MTR station (metro train), tram stops, restaurant and convienent stores. Their restaurant on level 41 (western food) was awesome and the ambient was cozy with harbour view. Overall highly recommend hotel stay in hong Kong 🌎 thank you 😊
