Avoid at all costs
Very few selections for you to try on. Only come here if you are a size 0 or else the staff here will literally fat shame you and tell you that nothing will fit unless you get a custom made dress. Isn’t it normal to at least try on a few styles to know what looks good on you before you decide if you want a customized dress??? Honestly there are so many bridal shops in Hong Kong with much bigger selections and much better attitude. Nothing stands out except poor customer service.
Disappointing experience with inconsistent pricing and pressuring tactics
I visited this wedding gown tailor shop with high hopes, given their extensive collection of dresses. However, my experience was far from satisfactory due to several major issues.
1. Limited selection & viewing:
Despite booking an appointment and seeing many beautiful gowns on display, the staff only showed me three options. I was not given the opportunity to browse the full collection or select dresses I was genuinely interested in, which was very disappointing.
2. Restrictive & pressuring photo policy:
During the fitting, customers are not allowed to take any photos with their phones. The staff take pictures for you, but they withhold these photos until you pay the full amount for a dress rental. This policy feels like a high-pressure tactic to force a decision without allowing time for reflection.
3. Inconsistent pricing:
This was the most frustrating part of the experience. The price quoted before the fitting was different from the price given afterwards. When I indicated which dress I preferred, the staff immediately quoted a higher price for that specific gown. Furthermore, their rental prices are approximately double those of other reputable bridal shops in the city.
Conclusion:
Considering the combination of pushy service, lack of transparency, and significantly higher costs, I cannot recommend this shop.
While the dresses they offer are undeniably stunning, their service and attitude fall short. Despite charging 2-3 times more than the average rental price, one would anticipate top-notch service. Unfortunately, they failed to meet expectations by not following through on promised alterations like adjusting the waist fitting and adding fabric to the dress. Moreover, they made excuses, blamed misunderstandings, and even engaged in fat-shaming. Given these experiences, I cannot recommend them.
